Traveling Sleep Coach

Our nationwide team is expanding! Are you our next coach?

About Mommywise

Mommywise’s mission is to give children happy, healthy parents; and give parents happy, healthy kids. We empower parents to trust their instincts, understand the difference between their kids’ habits and needs, and find freedom, confidence, and connection through sleep training. Since 2004, we have supported hundreds of families with in-home sleep training. You can read our reviews here to get a sense of the impact that our support provides families.

About the Role

As a traveling sleep coach, you will stay with families for 3-5 days and nights to lead them through the initial period of sleep training. You will then follow up with them for a month following to make sure that their baby’s new habits and routines are working well for their family. We do not require past sleep training experience in order to apply, as our approach is unique. If you bring baby knowledge and excellent people skills, we will provide training and mentorship for you to become a leading pediatric sleep expert.

Our coaches enjoy flexibility in scheduling their jobs, supportive mentorship, and excellent pay.

You might be a great fit if you are:

A Baby Geek

You love kids and are curious about how they learn and grow. You have several years of experience with babies ages 3 months - 15 months and can read their body language easily.

An Empowering Teacher

You are able to explain concepts in multiple ways, in writing and verbally, so that they “land” for different individuals. Through your teaching, you leave people feeling better about themselves and their abilities.

Socially Savvy

You love people and people love you. In a new situation, you can read a room to know how to adapt to different cultures, parenting styles, and communication patterns. You are extremely tactful and can develop trust and rapport quickly with people you’ve just met.

Empathetic, Grounded, and Resilient

You are comfortable with uncomfortable emotions and can provide a warm listening ear to friends without needing to “fix” them. In tense situations, you have coping tools to slow down, take a breath, and respond rather than react. When problems arise, you think creatively about solutions.

A Travel Lover

While we are based in NY and NJ, our clients live throughout the US and occasionally abroad. You’re excited by the idea of traveling and have a sense of adventure in staying in different homes (sometimes accommodations are luxury guest suites, and sometimes on the couch in a small apartment!)
